Renowned Ghanaian Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has announced that a remix of his evergreen hit ‘Asor’ will soon be available to his cherished fans.
The remix, which features Ghanaian music heavyweights Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata, serves as a major highlight of the singer’s 20th anniversary celebration since the release of his debut album.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, Kwabena Kwabena described the project as a “masterpiece,” adding that preparations are in full swing for its release before December this year.
“We are putting every promotional tool and everything together to come and serve Ghanaians the masterpiece. It’s a masterpiece — matter of fact it features two great giants, two great artistes I have great love and respect for. Big ups to the Bhim Nation president himself, Stonebwoy, and Kofi Kinaata,”

According to him, this remix is just the beginning of a series of collaborations planned to celebrate his two-decade journey in the music industry. He hinted that fans should expect more exciting remixes with other artistes next year.
Kwabena Kwabena, known for timeless hits such as Begye Me, Adult Music, Bue Kwan, and Tuamudaa, has often emphasized that his focus is on creating enduring music rather than chasing trends.
In an earlier interview in July 2025, he explained this philosophy, saying:
“It’s not the type of song you just want to trend. It is that song that you want that evergreen thing back again. You want longevity, so it needs to be people who understand music, like Okyeame Kwame. It has to be there.”
The Asor remix is part of activities marking his 20th anniversary celebration, which also includes a world tour across Africa, Europe, North America, Australia, and various cities in Ghana.
With Asor being reborn through this collaboration with Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata, fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a powerful fusion of classic Highlife and contemporary Ghanaian sound — a perfect bridge between generations of Ghanaian music lovers.
