The Black Stars have arrived in Morocco ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar, scheduled for Monday, March 24.
The entire Black Star squad, consisting of 23 players and officials, landed at Acharif Al Idriss Airport in Al Hoceima on Saturday afternoon, preparing for their crucial Group I encounter.
Currently leading Group I with 12 points, The Black Stars will face Madagascar, who are just two points behind the 2010 FIFA World Cup quarter-finalists.
The match at Stade Mimoun Al Arsi will be the second leg of the qualifier, following Ghana’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Madagascar in the first leg in Kumasi.

Both teams enter the match with strong performances from Matchday 5:
- Madagascar earned a convincing 4-1 away victory over the Central African Republic.
- Ghana cruised to a dominant 5-0 win over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.
